The "Bloody" and "Rotten" varieties especially are really grotesque. More Feral Ghouls- A Zombie Mod: A relatively new addition, this mod adds some really creative and unique looking ghouls that can be quite horrifying to encounter. Sound and loot changes included as a bonus. It makes the ghouls more raggedy looking, with wounds and exposed bones, but I didn't feel it actually added meaningful variety or made them particularly scary. I've omitted mods which only alter their movement or sounds, like Zombie Walkers, Clickerfied Ghouls and Terrifyer, but feel free to share your impressions of those as well!ĭ.E.C.A.Y.: Probably the most popular mod of the bunch.
